Manasa was born and raised in a remote village on a distant island in Fiji. His childhood was characteristic of the easy breezy island life spent farming, fishing, hunting, and living off the earth – a traditional Fijian way of life. Now, as a young man, Manasa wonders what adventures await him beyond the horizon.
Led through safe passage by the guiding star, Manasa sets foot in Suva. The Capital city of Suva is bustling and teeming with excitement and the city reveals itself to Manasa almost entirely in a matter of minutes. But, in a moment frozen in time is the most breathtakingly beautiful young woman named Manisha who catches Manasa’s eye, it is love at first sight and the pair easily become smitten with each other.
A passionate evening in the presence of their friends strengthens Manasa and Manisha’s resolve that they are meant for each other. Manisha’s family have reservations about who she has chosen to love and have had their own arrangement in mind for quite some time coming from a large and prominent family in Suva. Torn between her love for her family and her love for Manasa, Manisha is confronted with a difficult decision to make. Will love prevail?
